Saffron Walden is a picturesque, medieval town, in north-west Essex. It has a rich heritage of old buildings reflecting its wealth as a rural market town.
Located on the north side of town, Bridge End Garden has been described as a hidden gem. It is a beautiful, restored Victorian Garden made up of a number of small interconnecting gardens and is full of surprises. Admission to the Garden and Visitor Centre is free.
The Turf Maze (Labyrinth) on the Common is of great antiquity and importance. It is the largest example of its type in the world.

AVAILABILITY: There are a limited number of places available, which are allocated on a 'first come first served basis'. Our day trips are organised on the basis that a minimum number of persons will travel. If we receive insufficient bookings then we may cancel the trip in which case we will notify you 7 days before departure.
